AN OPEN LETTER 
TO ALL 
CONSIDERING OR CLAIMING TO BE "LAW KEEPERS"

A letter was really sent to a Law Keeper on 6-13-00, no reply was ever received back except, we were later told by others that a family they had been fellowshipping with had totally rejected the New Testament and our suffering Messiah which had come about 2000 years ago.  This Christ rejecting family now fully embraces the O.T. as their only guide and Law KEEPING as their salvation, they with the unbelieving Jews are yet looking for the promised Jewish Messiah to come, having put HIM to open shame through present day rejection and unbelief of the RECORD God gave of HIS son in the New Testament.  We have also heard of other such cases, so people beware of the emphasis with which you put on Law Keeping and your own personal righteousness in respect to our Saviour.  Or you may have a spiritual veil thrown over your spiritual sight by Satan and be lost.  Rev. 21:8 simple unbelieving.

Dear Mr. LAW KEEPER,

Greetings in the name of YaHWe-shua, The name made GREATER by the New Covenant.

You asked me the question if I felt I could (1) Have Messiah  (2) and also KEEP the Old Covenant, Law of Moses; at the same time.

NO, LAW KEEPER. I can not KEEP MESSIAH WITH THE NEW COVENANT AND KEEP the Old Covenant. That is like asking if Adam and Eve were allowed to eat off both the TREE OF LIFE and THE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL.

        NO, they were not allowed to do it. They made their choice and we must make ours: 
 NEW COVENANT - promises of Abraham     or     OLD COVENANT - works salvation.

                                Messiah as High Priest       or      Levites as High Priests

How should a prophet or an Apostle speak to you or your group? This is a problem with most any group these days but  You may say that Pentecost is not a good time. Seems to me that Pentecost is the best time to testify of Messiah, since that was the purpose of YaHWeH sending the Holy Spirit. This is the revelation of PENTECOST; Acts 2:16-21 (verse 21 which quotes Joel 2:32 clearly shows forth YaHWeH's name). This is the FULL REVELATION ... HIS name YaHWeH YaHWe-shua (Lord Jesus in KJV) and HIS Spirit.

If I be not a prophet unto others, yet doubtless I am to you. The good shepherd went after the ONE lost sheep, not the 99. But NO ONE went after the prodigal son, he left like Adam - full knowing or at least confessing himself to be wise and knowing. He had to come to his own senses later, which I pray and hope you do.

I prefer: not eating hog, meeting on Sabbath, having feasts, etc... but these are not my righteousness, not my salvation, not my priority compared to Messiah. The Law as I compare it's keeping to Messiah, I quote the Apostle Paul's true understanding, "and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ".  Philippians 3:9 "And be found in HIM, not having mine own righteousness, which is of THE LAW, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:"

There are the two trees of which to eat from.  Take your pick, but I will choose CHRIST (MESSIAH) alone as my salvation and righteousness as Abraham did.  Galatians 3:29  Eve was spiritually seduced away from the tree of life and believed the false statements of Satan about the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Yes, LAW KEEPER - I think you all are being SPIRITUALLY SEDUCED... When one is seduced there does not need to be resistance, they yield to "the wisdom of this world", He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. But we have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of THE TRUTH (MESSIAH alone JOHN 14.6) commending - "That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;" Ephesians 4:14.

If you have so learned Messiah - THAT YOU HAVE EATEN OF THE TREE OF LIFE MESSIAH ALONE or

Have you now turned again to the weak and beggarly elements thinking to find in THE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL - the strength and power to go unto perfection by that law or by THE LAW?

Don't you know: "The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is THE LAW." 1 Cor.15:56

LAW KEEPER, the Permanent marriage doctrine of ONE FLESH, is a New Covenant doctrine. So long as Messiah is bowing the knee to THE LAW of Moses all divorcing is just fine according to Deut. 24:1-4 and it will continue. This HARDNESS OF HEART will continue by those who TRUST in THEIR LAW KEEPING, instead of the Messiah. If you marry off your children to the Moses divorce endorsing crowd that are coming into your fellowship /or they which condone divorce and remarriage using the N.T./ you will have some children which will end up getting divorced. Don't believe me? Research it for your own self. Look at the Mennonites and the Amish, which believe in NO DIVORCE - less than 1 per cent divorce out of their members. It is reported that the Clergy in Christendom at large today has a divorce rate equal to that of the nation, 50 divorces out of 100 marriages (based on full life times) and that does not account for all the whoredom of just living together here a while and there a while. I will deal with this topic later.

Applying this statistic to our local congregations.  50% divorce rate is based on full life time.  So if your average age of all the married coupled  is say [35 for an example], (count 2 divorcees as one couple even if they aren't presently married), note you do not count people which have never been married.  The average life expectancy is 70.  So double the percentage of divorced couples (average age 35 in this example) to obtain the percentage of divorced people in your congregation.

One more example:  Say we have a congregation with 23 children/adults - none ever married, do not count any children or adults which have NEVER been married (we will assume their success rate in marriage will be the same as the adults in their congregation), 2 divorced adults living as singles, 7 adult singles never married (don't count these unless they hold themselves out as married - even if they are shacking - if they don't claim marriage don't count them - even if they have shacked with others before) otherwise you will have to count the unshacking as divorce likewise, 4 married couples which one or both have been married and divorced once or more (do not add any on for multiple divorces but also don't  deduct if only one of the married couple was divorced once, 8 married couples none of which have ever been divorced (both partners being in their original marriage).  Also count all widows and widowers which are still single and (which were never divorced nor married to a divorcee) divide this number in half to obtain a couple ratio. In this example 2 divided by 2= one.  Calculate as follows divide the divorced adults living as singles by 2.  2 divided by 2 = 1. Add this 1 to 4 which are marriages containing a divorce background this equals = 5 as a number of divorced marriages.  9 will be the original marriages in your congregation to this you would add half of the never divorced/married widows/widowers 1.  Get the average age of all these living people (for this example lets say 42 years old.)  In reality it will probably be much less unless your congregation contains many retirees.  To get the percentage of divorces per marriages per today multiple 5 by 100 (per centage is 100) and divide by 5+9+1=15 total marriages represented.  500 divided by 15 = 33.3% divorce rate today. Now to calculate forward in time for a life-time statistic take the average age of all persons ever married.  42 in this example divide the average life expectancy of 70 by 42 (average age) and the answer gives this married groups future total divorce rate based on previous experience.=1.66 X 33.3% = 55% total expected divorce rate over a life-time.  Please note we did not account for multiple divorces by the same person.  Statistics show that once a person has been divorced they will divorce again within a shorter time than the first and perhaps go on to even a third and forth and additional marriages.  (Today many are just shacking instead.)

Back to the question of LAW verses GRACE, or LAW KEEPING verses Messiah alone for our righteousness. PLEASE, it is a matter of preeminence (Col.1:18), and thereafter our thought of what is preeminent in our mind, thought, and spirit; so as to determine what our compelling FOCUS IS UPON. Is our FOCUS on LAW KEEPING or is our COMPELLING FOCUS on Messiah - the promised Jewish Saviour?  And faith in HIM or faith in our own works?

So long as you believe a fellowship can sit on a fence between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant AND Do BOTH .

. Hear, I said Hear what the spirit saith,

Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness [come] by THE LAW, then Christ is dead in vain.

Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by THE LAW; ye are fallen from grace.

Galatians 3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of THE LAW, or by the hearing of faith?

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of THE LAW for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Now get on down and pray tell if the above New Covenant scriptures are true or a lie... Judgment in the Church started with lying to God and we are there again. Those who want to call the above scriptures NOT TRUTH, lie against YaHWeH and the Holy Spirit, not me...

Now read Romans 7:4 .... we are dead, and our lives are hide in Christ.... we are married not to THE LAW of Moses but betrothed unto MESSIAH now.

READ Romans 7:4 all the way to Romans 8:9 we are either HIS, or none of HIS.

New Covenant of trusting the spirit or Old Covenant of trusting our flesh attempting to better or get better or KEEP THE LAW in our flesh.

Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, HAVE NOT SUBMITTED THEMSELVES unto the righteousness of God.

Let's submit unto God's righteousness, WHICH RIGHTEOUSNESS IS GREATER THAN THE LAW, WHICH RIGHTEOUSNESS is even MORE PURE than The Law. HOLY,  HOLY,  HOLY, Isaiah 6:3 and Revelation 4:8 no mention of LAW.

Let us get a Revelation of YaHWeH’s righteousness - without THE LAW.

Romans 3:19 Now we know that what things so ever THE LAW saith, it saith to them who are under (SAY THEY KEEP) THE LAW: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of THE LAW there shall no flesh be justified in his sight; for by THE LAW is the knowledge of sin.

Romans 3:21 "BUT NOW THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF God WITHOUT THE LAW 
 is manifested, being witnessed by THE LAW and the prophets;"

Romans 3:22 "EVEN THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF God which is BY FAITH of YaHWe-shua Messiah unto all and upon all them THAT BELIEVE: for there is NO DIFFERENCE:"

Some have become Paul haters, and / or claim the N.T. is full of errors.

Ephesians 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Acts 15:28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; 
Acts 15:29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from FORNICATION: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

I Thessalonians 4:8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

II Peter 3:15 And account [that] the longsuffering of our Master [is] salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

Dear LAW KEEPER; Which Torah Law shall we invoke, when we need healing for the body ? 
I would suggest we rely on the Spirit and James 5:14-20.

Life is short and we have no promise of tomorrow in this life.

Since the transgression of THE LAW is sin... 
And I believe all agree that none of you K E E P IT PERFECTLY, 
I believe we should therefore remain firm in the New Covenant and it's commandments.

Some LAW KEEPERS even make carnal offerings today of loaves of bread AS A WAVE OFFERING. Some others are even so bold as to KILL A LAMB for passover - as a sacrifice. 
Am I NOT saying we can't eat lamb and enjoy a seder meal as we remember our saviour ? NO ! But I am saying MESSIAH (Christ) is OUR PASSOVER and we have no business messing with Levitical offerings and sacrifices. That is not to say we do not accept the Bible from Gen. 1:1 to Rev. 22:21

WARNING: W A R N I N G: You're starting to play with the Levi Sacrifices...

Hebrews 13:9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that THE HEART BE ESTABLISHED WITH GRACE:

NOT WITH MEATS, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

Hebrews 13:10 We have an altar, WHEREOF THEY HAVE NO RIGHT to eat which serve the tabernacle.

Galatians 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed "from HIM" that called you into the grace of Messiah unto another gospel:
Gal. 1:7 WHICH IS NOT ANOTHER; but there be some that trouble you, AND WOULD PERVERT THE GOSPEL OF MESSIAH. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, 
so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, 
let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Messiah.  Galatians 1:8 -10

Do you think Messiah brought peace to the feasts he attended. 
Nay, they sought to kill HIM for the things he spoke and stood for.

You LAW KEEPERS need to check your dictionary on the real meanings of "two words": 
and HOW to translate them into a FULL WALK of the complete O.T. if you insist on calling yourselves - LAW KEEPERS .

"K E E P" and how that.applies to THE LAW and SABBATH

"birth-control" and WHO is supposed to be in charge 
of opening and closing the blessed barren womb, if we are in the end times.

If you will call yourselves "Burger King Law Keepers" I'll shut up. Burger King says, "Have it your way". YaHWeH says have it Messiah's way.

Learn again the NEW COMMANDMENT Messiah gave us and get tassels for that.

If I were to come and preach THE LAW, AND NOTHING BUT THE LAW, the LAW KEEPER would agree with me. But instead I come as a servant of YaHWe-shua, in HIS Spirit, to bear witness to HIS great work... For me to teach on NEW COVENANT; marriage, divorce and remarriage; you would have to be rooted and grounded in the NEW COVENANT to begin with ---- there is no way a so called "LAW KEEPER" is going to be able to stand NEW COVENANT marriage.... Their HEARTS  ARE  too  HARD !

If I be an Elder, grandfather of six, father of nine, all in good behavior, married 31 years, two children married by covenant, not license, or church; and I come preaching the Spirit filled life on Pentecost those I fellowship with will give at least equal ear to THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD WITHOUT THE WORKS OF THE LAW.

Again as is my custom. If this letter is wrong - give rebuke - if correct give glory to YaHWeH and repent.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Finally, I'm not building any organization, collecting any money, 
coveting control over any persons, just using the time YaHWeH gave me, 
to hopefully help another person find, or stay with Messiah.

Love the New Testament, NEW COVENANT; which is the love of Messiah...

Esau sold his birthright for gratification of the belly
Will we put MESSIAH in second place, by THINKING we gratify our flesh saying
we KEEP THE LAW ? When in all honesty NO ONE EVER KEPT THE LAW except
YaHWe-shua, who kept it for us, so we might be able to have HIS righteousness.

Israel had their yearly sacrifices to be able to stand before God 
but when the "CURTAIN" was torn from top to bottom, God no longer winked at their ignorance. (Acts 17:30) The revelation of "THE MYSTERY" hide from the beginning of time was made MANIFEST. YaHWeH YaHWe-shua Messiah.

Can you be (in Messiah) and (be a LAW KEEPER) ?    Can you do both ?    I can not.

I do count all things dung, that I may win Messiah.

LAW KEEPER, Honestly I am shocked that some OF YOU are wearing tassels. 
If pleasing the Father was only so simple or do we deceive ourselves that
tassels and towels please HIM SO???  If you are going to K E E P --- 

K E E P 1 0 0%

Put those menstruating women --- OUT OF THE CAMP, 
OUT OF YOUR HOUSE, OUT OF YOUR BEDROOM, OUT OF YOUR BED,
OUT OF THE GATHERING PLACE OF MESSIAH.

Sitting on a towel doesn't put them OUT OF THE CAMP.

Look up those verses and adopt a strong interpretation. They are in the Old Testament and surely a good "LAW KEEPER" should be KEEPING ALL OF THEM.

LAW KEEPERS SHOULD Stone those in rebellion as well as Sabbath breakers.

SHUT OFF THOSE  PUBLIC UTILITIES AND POWER (within your GATES) on Sabbath
make sure those meters are not picking up any sticks on Sabbath BUYING the luxuries of 21st Century within your gates... There is a man working for that company on that day somewhere and you are consuming even ever so small a portion of his (their) labors within your gates on Sabbath and BUYING it as well, unless your meter isn't turning, or you don't pay off a meter?

If such craziness persists I can find lots of things in the Torah you don't do, 
which were supposed to be done, which were not specifically done away with 
in the New Covenant. Torah KEEPERS SHOULD ALSO KEEP Torah JUDGEMENTS, 
SINCE IT'S A PART OF Torah ! If you are not going to do Numbers 15:32-36 don't mock YaHWeH by doing the next few verses and then claim to be a LAW KEEPER.

The Modern Day "gatherer of sticks" picked up by YOUR power (utility) meter(s) 
on Sabbath PURCHASING ON CREDIT on the Sabbath YOU benefit from Consuming the fruits of those laboring for the Power (Utility) Co. on that Sabbath day (hired and paid by YOU - even a so small portion) being consumed by YOU WITHIN YOUR GATES. And in the light and judgment of Numbers 15:35 YOU claim to be KEEPING THE SABBATH? I call it Hypocritical at best.

You are not granted liberty for luxury or comfort sake under THE LAW. And there are places and people in the USA which do not purchase ANY PUBLIC UTILITIES. NONE... so it can be done, and it is being done by horse and buggy Amish and Mennonites TODAY--- seven days a week without any public utilities.  And they are not even trying to keep the Sabbath!  So what is your excuse but a Burger King, "have it your way" religion.  The Rechabites got to stay in the land of Israel when the Babylon Captivity came, because they never dwelled in houses and cities but lived in tents. They were blessed above the others for KEEPING that commandment of their Father.

But to say, WE KEEP THE SABBATH, and dwell in luxury in cities where we just have to flush the toilet and keep the refrigerator, Heat, or Air conditioning going - YaHWeH must really be laughing . . . Man didn't have any of those things until the last century. I don't think YaHWeH is impressed with our logic of selfish justification much less our lying about it. LIARS Rev.21:8

Numbers 15:37-39 what do your tassels represent? Numbers 15:40 That ye may remember, AND DO ALL MY COMMANDMENTS, and be holy unto your God. Phrase "all my commandments" Lev.26:15, Num.15:40, Deut.5:29, & 1 Kings 6:12.

Check that word, "ALL" in the dictionary just to be sure it means INCLUSIVE.

NOTICE, we are IN THE SAME CONTEXT with STONING SABBATH STICKERS, Numbers15:36. If you got "TASSELS" better also get "STONES". The stones are also cheaper and easier to come by in most locations. But people do not want to show them off to their friends and acquaintances. Mat.23:5, Luke 16:15, and John 5:44. Look those verses up, if you are sincere with YaHWeH.

Deut.22.12 fringes upon the four quarters -- YOU BETTER ALSO DO THE NEXT

Better stone any girls given which are not virgins.  Hello, out there is any one listening?

If you didn't notice: (1) we don't live in Israel (2) we are not in THE LAND (3) we don't have MOSES with us (4) we don't have MOSES' tabernacle (5) most of us are Gentiles by natural birth (6) we don't have the GLORY cloud by day or the pillar of FIRE by night (7) we don't have the Ark of the Covenant nor the tables of stone which were inside it.

The Blood of Messiah is what makes me holy to my God and walking in HIS spirit, not following Moses, or THE LAW.

LAW KEEPER, I fear for you --- read the end of the road:

Gen.50.26 ... and he was put in a COFFIN IN EGYPT.

Mat.28.20 ... I am with you alway, unto the end of the world. Amen.

WHICH ENDING DO YOU LIKE AND STAND FOR ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

When you get on your death bed will you think of these verses or will you be trusting in your personal law breaking ? ONE sin, just ONE according to MOSES and your dead meat. DEAD MEAT. Or do you really trust the blood of Messiah ALONE FOR YOUR SALVATION ?

The conclusion of the O.T.  Mal.4.6 ... lest I come and smite the earth with a CURSE.

Can you show me in the Torah, where CLEARLY MESSIAH'S BLOOD IS THE ONLY MEANS OF SALVATION ??? I would like to see it....

But I believe we will find     "T H E     M Y S T E R Y"     only CLEARLY TOLD IN

the NEW COVENANT. (New Testament)

SOME MORE LAWS --- LAW KEEPERS --- DON'T KEEP

In our reading the Bible through this year we happen to be in Lev. and I was pleasantly shown by the SPIRIT how the hog eating Gentile's do have some of the TORAH on their heart. What man in a restaurant served a drink with a "dead fly" floating in it wouldn't request a new cup? Lev. 11:35

But we also learned that "THE LAW KEEPER" should "BREAK" any earthen ware 
(ie glass, china, etc. ye shall BREAK IT. Lev.11:33 And any range, oven, stove, should be discarded (broken down) "destroyed" it is unclean unto you. Lev.11:35 So don't kill a fly on any of those or happen to find a dead one on there or it will be Burger King Time. "Have it your way" LAW KEEPING, just one more time.

I'm not a "LAW KEEPER" and therefore I don't claim to "KEEP TORAH" so I won't have any problem with the last part of Lev.11:35. Though I can't say it was done away with "separately" in the New Covenant, my American Scientific mind tells me that my range, stove, or oven, glass, china, etc. is not unclean though I killed 100 flies on it in one hour. I would just wash it, just like you will. But I do admit from a strict reading of Lev.11:35 it should go to the dump, that is what the text says, it does not allow for Burger King Law Keeping.  Buying a new stove this often would get popular with stove manufactures; they would approve of that I'm sure.

Am I putting my understanding over YaHWeH's LAW ? I would be if I claimed to be a 
"LAW KEEPER", but since I am in HIS GRACE, and at LIBERTY to do GOOD as I judge in the Spirit by Faith instead of just  K E E P I N G  the letter - I have the option of Burger King O.T.  
And I enjoy my liberty in Messiah.

Dear LAW KEEPER don't think that I judge you or desire to.  I allow people to claim to be Sabbath KEEPERS and LAW KEEPERS --- I don't reject you, it is you that reject us that are saved by Grace through faith...  because we do not confess to be a Sabbath Keeper, a Feast Keeper, a Law Keeper, it is those which are in FAITH that are rejected... for their faith... 

I will be judged as I judge others and James 2:13 "For he shall have judgement without mercy, THAT HATH SHEWED NO MERCY; AND MERCY REJOICETH AGAINST JUDGEMENT." 
Dear LAW KEEPER are you judging people because they don't KEEP THE SABBATH ? Mat.5:7

"Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy."    Mat. 6:15 "But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Mat. 7:1 -2  " Judge not, that ye be not judged. for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again."

Now if I'm wrong in my interpretation of Lev.11:35 I would like to know. I do not want to teach, error.

Gen. 30.1 Rachel said to Jacob, "Give me children, or else I die." His hot reply was, "Am I in God's stead, who (YaHWeH) hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?"

Conclusion: If you're PREVENTING conception, when performing the act, you're playing YaHWeH.

There was a primitive man that did that. Onan for personal reasons PREVENTED conception, though performing the act, by spilling his seed on the ground. He didn't have pills, chemicals, and insert devises to PREVENT PREGNANCY by abortion in those days. What was YaHWeH's opinion of this PREVENTING ?

Gen. 38:10 "And the thing which he did displeased YaHWeH: wherefore HE slew him also."

Gen. 1:22 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it: ...

Given one square foot per person, or this could be multiplied by figuring multi-story dwellings, every person in the entire world can fit in the CITY LIMITS OF JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA... (on the ground NO buildings required). I guess that does away with the American Public School Humanistic Worldview myth of "over population" so many so called "Bible Believers" have bought into today. Have the "Perfect Family" one or two children and no more. Besides if "the lost" will keep aborting their children and the righteous or at least religious will keep having children allowing YaHWeH to be the one who opens and closes the womb things could change, for the better, with Home Schooling and a little of your help.

We used "the pill" for eight years between our first and second child of nine. Those eight years are now a regret, though repented of. Yet now I praise YaHWeH YaHWeshua that HE protected us in our SELFISH IGNORANCE as we tried to get three different doctors to "break" my wife. But they all refused. HalleluYaH is our reply today. However we were not happy with the doctors' refusals back then.

I still emphasis the KING OF KINGS, AND HIS GRACE, which will KEEP us William Tyndale expounds the grace and law issue most excellently - better than I do. I agree with Tyndale's conclusion, though at times he is VERY prolaw, perhaps I am too but I reserve that side for those which reject any conditions in the New Covenant  in the name of a Christian do make a mockery of YaHWeH's name. Those people call me, legallistic, some go so far as to say, "I preach grace but practice Law for Salvation."  At the same time the supposed LAW KEEPERS call me, antinomian. Since I affirm the moral laws of the New Testament, which is basically most of the O.T., how could I be antinomian and stand against DIVORCE AND REMARRIAGE (Adultery) Romans7:3, Gal.5:19-21 they which [do not repent] of such things SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF God. Actually those condoning "Divorce with Remarriage to another" are "antinomian" to the Messiah's understanding of Genesis 2:24 Holy Matrimony Luke 16:18 and according to Ephesians Chapter Five.

Dear LAW KEEPER, before a man should ever consider "LAW KEEPING" he should consider and learn how to "KEEP a wife" first.  Eve came a long time before Moses.  I am awaiting your reply, and pray I shall have joy in the Holy Spirit when I read it, and not sorrow.

P.S. "I could speak for hours on Marriage, Divorce, and Remarriage. This subject which our sins have complicated to no end can not be ignored any longer. This is a short letter on that topic and is not intended to be exhaustive in context or understanding. There are many excuses (and other so called exceptions) that can be answered in other ways NOT included here.  This is a short summary.

Only the author and finisher of our faith is able to correctly answer whether marriage dissolution is possible today. Therefore we must seek HIS face, read HIS word, having HIS spirit as our guide to lead us into all truth in these matters. But before anyone addresses this question it is pure foolishness to do so without a complete understanding of what Holy Matrimony is according to the Creator, author, and finisher of the ONE FLESH institution.

  Anyone must first define: Holy Matrimony and the solidification of it, before attempting to figure out a way or ways by which it may be dissolved or eradicated in accordance with the Creator, author, and finisher, if there is a way indeed to make ONE FLESH, twain again.

The problem is that Believers' don't understand, ONE FLESH. Genesis 2:24 is the formula for Holy Matrimony (the institution of ONE FLESH) straight from the Garden of Eden, BEFORE SIN in the human race. This is the text quoted by the author and finisher of our faith as the answer to the divorce question by Pharisees under the New Covenant. (Mat.19:5, Mark 10:7, and Eph.5:31) Until we understand that the ONE FLESH in Gen. 2:24 is sanctioned by YaHWeH, not government or church, and that YaHWeH with all authority through HIS Son said, "so then they are no more twain, but ONE FLESH." And this is the way it was from the beginning with the exception for the time YaHWeH "winked at" (Acts 17:30) Moses because of the HARDNESS of your HEARTS suffered you to put away your wives: BUT FROM THE BEGINNING IT WAS NOT SO." Matthew 19:8 Mark 10:2-12 Until we understand ONE FLESH we will not understand this topic, period.

Now the Gospel of repentance, self-denial, love, forgiveness, belief and reconciliation is the way to Eternal Life and typified by "a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church." Eph.5.32 The example of Husband and wife is the type of Christ and the church. Moses through unbelief (broke a type of Christ) by failing to sanctify Christ by speaking to the ROCK instead of striking the ROCK, the second time water was needed from the ROCK. Num. 20:7-13 & 27:13&14 And that commandment was to sanctify CHRIST before the eyes of the people. That act (of breaking the type of Christ) kept Moses from entering the promised land, just as under the New Covenant no man will be justified by the works of THE LAW.   Galatians 2:16

Today people fail to follow YaHWeH CHRIST (Isa.44:6) by desecrating the picture of Christ and the church. Eph.5:32 which picture originated in the Garden of Eden (Gen.2:24) as ONE FLESH. Sin was cast out the Gates of Eden. Can we believe to enter the kingdom of Christ as HIS bride when we have handled the type of ONE FLESH treacherously ? Working treacherously against the wife / husband of their youth (that first) ONE FLESH wife or husband. Moses in the shadows of the New Covenant was unable to enter the Promised Land (physically), for failing to sanctify Christ. Let us repent of profaning (ONE FLESH) the type of Christ and the church (by divorcing and remarriage to another). (Joshua) Acts 7:45 took the people into the promised land by grace and the gift of God is eternal life through YaHWe-shua the Messiah.

ONE FLESH ie Holy Matrimony between a man and woman is that type of Christ and the church. Beloved, there is NEVER an innocent party. What wife has ever fulfilled Eph.5.22 "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto YAHWEH'' And reverence her husband Eph.5.33 No wife is innocent in regards to being the perfect wife. What husband has ever fulfilled Eph.5.25 "Husbands, LOVE your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave HIMSELF for it;" Colossians 3:19 "Husbands, love [your] wives, and be not bitter against them." Oh, you say your spouse committed adultery and or deserted you. "I wonder WHY they were sexually unsatisfied at home if each is doing their part in totally giving their selves to the other (body, thought, and mental caring) and second your answer for forgiveness of your spouse and proper conduct in the matter is the book of Hosea. We have no control over the other party, we can only control ourselves as Hosea did. Go and do likewise.

Now if a Husband is willing to lay down his                        life for this wife because he

loves her. Or the wife is reverencing and                        obeying her husband in everything

he says except for to sin in an attitude of                        1 Peter 3:1-6. THERE WILL NEVER

BE A DIVORCE if at least one is a Christian                        forgiving the other 70 times 7;

plus we see there is not an innocent party,                        no not one, all have sinned and

come short of the glory of God.

 For one party to think they are totally innocent is just to place all 100% of the blame on the other party which just can't be so.  You did say, "I do" when you got married didn't you?  Of course, or you wouldn't be married and therefore you are a part of the problem whether you like it or not.  Our American Culture is built upon always finding the blame in someone else.  Some how we fail to look in the mirror.

For anyone to commit adultery by singular act or the state of double marriage (which is the Biblical definition of adultery in Romans 7:2-3) it is clear by definition that the adulterous party is committing adultery against (the ONE FLESH) of A PRIOR PARTY (and NOT establishing a NEW one flesh) for God is merciful and will not bind you in an unpardonable sin.  Nor does the HOLY Creator bind in ONE FLESH, adulterous marriages being divorced and remarried to another.  YaHWeH is not going to be a part of your SIN, and then you wonder why you are having so much trouble in your adulterous marriage. The sinful act of joining in ONE BODY (1 Cor.6:16) just as in the act of fornication with a harlot. Otherwise the party would not commit adultery, but be establishing ONE FLESH the ordained holy provision of taking a wife according to Gen. 2:24.

Unfortunately people which rely on the shear definitions of the words like: marriage, husband, wife, bondage, loosed, put away, etc.; and build their doctrine of divorce and remarriage from these will probably be able to justify themselves to a lot of people in USA the divorce capital of the world. What we have in America is licensed adultery masquerading as Holy Matrimony acquiesced by government and most churches. This subject is as complicated as sin has made it with so many supposed excuses. Don't think God made this complicated, your sin did.

God designed for two virgins (a male and female)  to come together until death do they part as a new family.  It is that simple...  Man's sin, lust, and uncontrolled greed of selfishness has caused all the trouble.  The answer:  REPENT.

We should be more concerned with the origin of the institution in Gen.2:24 and YaHWeH's judgment in Gal. 5:19-21, then with the opinions of government, church, and family. The word marriage in context doesn't always mean: ONE FLESH according to Gen.2.24 as in Heb.13:4. The first use of "Married" in Romans 7:3 is sinful, she is an adulteress, the second use of married in Romans 7:3 relates to sanctioned marriage by YaHWeH, ONE FLESH. So the word marriage or married in itself does not mean right or wrong in itself BUT SIMPLY SHOWS COHABITATION "as a husband and wife do".

  People which attempt to justify divorce and remarriage (licensed adultery) do not forgive their spouse as Messiah told us, "But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses." Mark 11.26, Matthew 6:15 & 18:35  Let Hosea be your teacher of how to love an adulterous mate, this is AGAPE love which we are to have towards our spouse with commitment unto death.

Before Messiah was manifested to take away the sin of the world, I would have agreed with O.T. divorce for any cause. But since the New Covenant of the Promised Hebrew Messiah is established upon BETTER PROMISES (Heb.8:6), l must agree to follow the straight and narrow way for the broad way leads to destruction and the ruin of homes, lives, and souls; which is the product of HARDNESS OF HEARTS, only allowed by Moses, NOT YaHWeH.

SIN must always be repented of with restitution when possible.  Now in the context of ONE FLESH unions the conclusion is simple:                        

1Cor7.11    But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her (original ONE FLESH) husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

 Some foolish divorced people have attempted to make a difference between "put away" and "divorce" but there is really no difference in the New Covenant usage.

If two virgins commit fornication and the girl gets pregnant, the boy SHOULD do the honorable thing and marry the girl, (per O.T. even without pregnancy). If the boy will not marry the girl or goes and marries another either way he bastardizes the produce of the fornicated pregnancy. But in all cases the boy is always the father of his child whether sanctioned or unsanctioned by Holy Matrimony.

YaHWeH commanded, "Thou shalt not commit adultery" Exo.20:14 Romans 13:9 "Thou shalt not bear false witness" In divorce don't you know it is always the other person's fault, always - ask them. Thou shalt LOVE thy neighbour (and spouse more!) then thyself. Messiah died for you - are you willing to forgive 70 X 7, 1 Cor. 13 LOVE, long suffering, kind, thinketh no evil, beareth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. OR DO WE SIT AS JUDGES, JUDGING OUR SPOUSE, Romans 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in [his) brother's way. Isn't our spouse entitled to more, YES... Romans 2:3 "And thinkest thou this, 0 man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgement of God?"

Who is the greatest Moses or the Messiah ? To appease your HARD HEART will you FORCE Messiah's teaching to fit Moses ? Or bow your knees to the author and finisher of our faith ?

"l tell you that Moses will also bow his knees and worship the Lamb (YaHWeshua), Moses will not dishonor the Lamb as he did the ROCK, "and that Rock was Christ." 1 Cor. 10:4 Who is greater Abraham or Moses ? Who's promises or law will you be Betrothed to God under - ultimately you must choose ONE... John 8:58 "YaHWe-shua said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, BEFORE ABRAHAM WAS, I AM [YaH].'' Then they took up stones (TO KILL HIM) ...

As our Master said, "Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law?  Why go ye about to kill me?"  John 7:19

"The Law of Moses" is a phrase that is in both the O.T. and N.T. in a total of 21 verses.

Holy Matrimony has in it the most intensive emotions both for good and bad, it is a fine line. Ask Amnon 2 Sam.13:1-37.

Billy Graham's wife, Ruth, was once ask if she had ever contemplated divorce. Her reply was honestly she never had, but she had thought about murder a couple of times.

David had Uriah killed because of Bathsheba, and David reaped what he sowed.

So then ONE FLESH under the New Covenant once established BY ELIGIBLE PARTIES is only broken by the Physical death of the spouse, death of the spouse's FLESH, ending ONE FLESH. (Romans 7:2 and 1 Cor. 7:39)  Otherwise we are to consider the permanence of Christ and the church, love, forgiveness, and reconciliation... The same as a Christian can backslide, marry (run with, cohabitate with) the devil, come to their senses, REPENT, and return to the Christ and be (forgiven) and still be Christ's if they will fully repent. 

So can the divorced and adulterous remarriage be repented of and return to be ONE FLESH, with the original unbroken ONE FLESH - which by act was previously adulterated. (READ Jer. Chapter 3). Otherwise you have created the UNPARDONABLE SIN. Because you fail to make a difference between CLEAN and UNCLEAN. CLEAN Holy Matrimony for saved and unsaved eligible parties. And UNCLEAN UN-holy marriage (cohabitation) of divorced and remarried while a supposed ex-spouse (of ONE FLESH still lives); such a union does not create ONE FLESH (Gen.2:24 as God does not join in your SIN of adultery), but it only masquerades as ONE BODY (as the harlot in 1 Cor.6:16). ONE BODY of sin against the Holy Ordinance of ONE FLESH in Gen. 2:24. These state/government/church marriages are just ADULTEROUS UNIONS to be repented of if we desire to inherit the kingdom of God (Gal.5:19-21).  Yes, they are "legal" in our corrupt world and society, but they are not HOLY before YaHWeH as ONE FLESH must be which YaHWeH instituted.

The wife is bound by the law (Gen.2.24) as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead (physically NOT SPIRITually), she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in YaHWeH. lCor.7:39                        Romans 7:2                      

I am not saying that a couple can not be apart from each other for a time to cool off trouble but   they must conduct themselves as married "ONE FLESH" spouses while apart and should be reconciled as soon as possible. 1 Cor. 7:11

We in the USA are also ignorant of the Middle East marriage understanding. There are two states of pure marriage. The first is the legal union typically by vows into the BETROTHAL STATE of husband and wife as Joseph and Mary were before they came together then afterwards Joseph KNEW Mary consummating the BETROTHAL STATE into ONE FLESH by completing the Gen. 2:24 formula. "I therefore believe that "vows alone" and church ceremony bind only the "legal state of BETROTHAL". And until consummation of the FLESHLY UNION into the permanent state of ONE FLESH (still instituted by YaHWeH alone), the couple are only Betrothed.  Only considered husband and wife according to societies legal matters.  The HOLINESS of marriage is a heavenly judgment just as any other SIN which society might have decided is OK, but God still calls it SIN.  Abortion, private drunkenness, whoredom, fornication, sodomy to name a few.  Legally you might get away with it now, but at the last judgment?  God will be judging. Sinful society shall not be the final judge, God will be.

Consenting parties coming together for other than the purpose of becoming Husband and Wife: whether for pleasure, convenience, whoredom, or fornication is SIN to be repented of.

Therefore the first time two ELIGIBLE PARTIES fulfill Gen.2:24 (Leave, Cleave, & Become)  it is never sin IF (the mutual agreement and understanding) is that of becoming husband and wife unto death; Like Jacob and Leah (even though tricked) they were made "ONE FLESH" for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, for better OR WORSE until death do us part.

 

Let each of us learn to KEEP our Spouse in HOLINESS as the picture of Christ and his church.  This will be the first step in KEEPING the second great commandment in the New Covenant.  Friend if we can't keep just two great commandments and that within our own home why get judgmental over 10 or 613 or whatever you want everyone to say, "I KEEP The Law, Sabbath, Feasts ..."  Do you really KEEP them?

Start with a witness to your congregation and to the world by loving your husband or wife of your youth.  Then walk in the Spirit that you might go unto perfection if God permit.  That Spirit bodily seats on the Mercy Seat above the ark in the Heavenliest therefore the proper position in heaven and earth is that YaHWeH is above "The Law," which is beneath HIM.  Let us all therefore look unto YaHWe-shua and please HIM, leaving the law of Moses inside (hide) in the Ark of the Covenant.  For our Covenant that died for us is now seated on top of the Ark of the Covenant...  Simply put, YaHWeH is our salvation. (YaHWe-shua)

"And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is Salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you."  2 Peter 3:15
